Murder Made Official: A Candice Holladay Cozy Mystery
Carla Crowe
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Former police officer, now bookstore owner Candice Holladay becomes embroiled in a mystery when Peter Lang, a visiting official, is murdered during the East Black Oak's annual art fair. Along with reporter Christopher Donovan and her friend Gracie Beckett, Candice probes the bewildering meaning of symbols that are located through out the art fair. What do they mean and who is behind them?
The plot of this book is intriguing, but it can be a bit complicated at times. The author does a good job of keeping the reader on their toes throughout the story. There is also a hint of romance between Candice and Christopher that gives the book a little lightheartedness. I believe many mystery readers would enjoy this book.
*I received an ARC of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
