Wedding planner Ally is all ready to host a beautiful wedding for Brenna and Matt. The wedding goes off without a hitch but during the toast, the bride’s sister (and bridesmaid) suddenly collapses and dies from anaphylaxis due to an almond allergy. Ally does not believe this was an accident, so she and her pet detective Theo begin a mission to determine who tampered with Kenna’s drink and why.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was fast-paced and the plot was well-written with unexpected twists and red herrings. The ending was a bit of a surprise, which as a mystery reader, I appreciate. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
