Murder Logged In: A Stevie & Kurt Cozy Mystery

E.C. Whitcombe

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

Stevie and Kurt are gaming when another player’s character is suddenly killed online—but the shock doesn’t end there. They soon learn that the player, Leroy, has been murdered in real life. As hardcore gamers, the duo dives deep into the digital world to uncover who killed him and why.

This was a difficult book for me to review because I know very little about coding, gaming, or cybersecurity, which made it a bit challenging to follow some parts of the story. That said, the mystery itself kept me engaged—I wanted to know who the killer was, and that curiosity kept me turning the pages.

At just 45 pages, this novella is a quick read. I think readers who are more familiar with gaming culture or tech-driven plots might really enjoy this one.

*I received an ARC of this book. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
