Dead Man’s Hand: A Penelope Sinclair Cozy Mystery
Tessa Aura
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Penelope Sinclair wants to enjoy the peace of Bath, Maine with her teacup chihuahua, Teo. But that’s difficult to do when a dead body shows up behind her boutique. Though Detective Caleb warns her to stay out of it, Penelope dives into the case and uncovers a tangled mystery centered around a failed bakery cooperative—and it seems like someone is determined to eliminate the former members one by one. Can she solve the case before she becomes the next victim?
This was an entertaining and fast-paced read. The author throws more curves at the reader than Sandy Koufax! This reader was hooked from page one and couldn’t wait for the reveal. This book has strong characters, subtle humor and a hint of romance. What more could a reader want? I would definitely recommend this book to other cozy fans.
