Killer in the Vineyard

Killer in the Vineyard: Little Lies Everywhere Book 3

Victoria Kosky

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sylvie is a mob wife on the run and she goes to live with her sister Gabriella and new husband Andrew to lay low. She meets Andrew’s best friend, Dale, who has just inherited the failing family vineyard. Dale offers Sylvie a job at the winery to use her “people skills” to gather information. When two murders rock the vineyard, she realizes that someone from the inside is trying to destroy the vineyard and anybody that gets in their way. Will Sylvie figure out who is behind the vendetta before she becomes the next victim?

At first, I had some difficulty getting into this book. The first few chapters felt a bit disjointed, likely due to the backstory that was presented in the first two books of the series. But once I got past the first couple of chapters, the pace picked up and I was really enjoying the plot. It had mystery, humor and romance as sparks were flying between Sylvie and Dale. Just a heads up—there is some raunchy language in this book  that is not usually found in cozy mysteries. Sylvie is very much a rough around the edges character and the language matches her vibe. I think mystery lovers that enjoy strong women characters and a hint of romance would enjoy this book.

*I received an ARC of this book. All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
