Jessica Bloom is living her dream of opening a book/coffee shop in Mystic Valley. As a member of the collective, she is making friends with other small business owners. However, when real estate developer Davis Hartman is found dead behind her shop, Jessica is determined to find the culprit and save the collective from being torn apart.

This is an enjoyable cozy mystery read. The author develops an intriguing plot in which there are several suspects and many twists and turns. The characters are well written and there is humor interspersed throughout the story. It grabbed my attention from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. I definitely recommend this book to readers who enjoy light, cozy mysteries.
