The Librarian’s Deadly Broadcast: Lila and Whiskers Mystery Book 5
Rhea S. Brown
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Librarian Lila Hartley and her friend journalist Zoe Delgado decide to bring a positive change to Willow Creek by investing in a struggling local radio station. What they didn’t expect to find during renovation was the dead body of a missing broadcast named Freddy. It turns out that Freddy had uncovered some major corruption in Willow Creek and was about to spill the tea when he disappeared. Lila, Zoe and Whiskers (Lila’s cat) take up where Freddy left off, hoping to solve the mystery of who was behind the corruption and murder.
This fast-paced murder mystery is well written and keeps the reader’s interest throughout the book. The plot is easy to follow and I was hooked from page one. Brown has developed some quirky characters and uses subtle humor for the duration of the story. If you are looking for a quick, engaging read, give this book a try.
