This is actually a short audiobook (23 minutes) about an early creation of Michelangelo. When he was in his teens, Michelangelo sculpted “Mask of a Faun”. A faun is a mythical creature with a fondness for nature and revelry. This sculpture caught the eye of the gifted artist Lorenzo, who took Michelangelo under his wing to mentor. The mask has since disappeared and there are many theories of what has happened to it.

This non-fiction audiobook was quite interesting. I enjoy learning about history and this book is perfect as a quick read/listen. This is Book 4 in the Lost Treasure Series and I’m looking forward to more stories. I definitely recommend this to readers who appreciate art history and a bit of a mystery.
