However, a dead body dumped in an alley at the back door of her new shop derails her plans. She soon caught up in the mystery of Ricky’s death and alongside Detective Caleb Grant, rush to solve the case before she becomes a victim.

This book is a quick, easy read that keeps the readers’ attention until the end. The author adds some humor along with the intrigue, which makes the story flow. There is a cliffhanger that seems to be the setup for the next book. If you are looking for a light, clever read, I would recommend this book.
